Having earned her graduate degree from Fordham University and her undergraduate degree from Long Island University, Zarin has cultivated a strong foundation of knowledge and skills to support her clients effectively. Drawing from her Muslim faith, and fluent in both English and Dari, Zarin provides culturally sensitive therapy to support clients on their journey toward growth. In the initial session, Zarin focuses on building a genuine connection and gaining a comprehensive understanding of her clients’ motivations for seeking help and change. She tailors her approach to address individual needs, striking a balance between reflective insights and solution-oriented strategies. Zarin’s guidance is always client-centered, ensuring that her clients feel heard and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Zarin utilizes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) .
