Maya Jourieh is a Mental Health Counselor who works to ensure each individual is provided with a safe space, using an empathetic and nonjudgmental approach. She possesses a passion in helping individuals develop long lasting positive change, healthy habits, and coping strategies. Maya encourages curiosity and exploration in self-growth through a compassionate collaborative framework.

Prior to journeying on her path of becoming a Mental Health Counselor, she worked in her previous occupation as an experienced educator in the field of Physical Education and Health Education, a student advisor, and school health office coordinator. Her time working in the school system provided her with the experience in working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults at various capacities and settings.

Maya uses a variety of therapeutic modalities. She believes in an integrative approach, and the importance of language used and the impact of words. She deeply values each client’s individuality and ensures the client is met where they are in the moment.
