By building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, Rosaleen creates a space where meaningful growth and lasting change can happen.
Rosaleen believes that all clients are experts and architects of their own journey. Drawing from narrative therapy, she helps clients reconnect with their strengths, make sense of difficult experiences, and discover new ways of understanding their stories. She also incorporates solution-focused therapy to help clients identify what's working, build on their resilience, and move toward the life they want. Her approach is tailored to each individual, integrating evidence-based practices that best fit each client's unique needs and goals.
Rosaleen began her career in community mental health, working with individuals, couples, families, and children ages five and older. She has experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, relationship concerns, dating, life transitions, career changes, workplace stress, and the challenges that come with navigating change.
Rosaleen helps clients understand how relationships, family dynamics, culture, and broader social influences shape their experiences. As one of six children and a first-generation Irish American, she brings a deep appreciation for the ways family, culture and identity influence emotional well-being, relationships, and a sense of belonging.
Before becoming a therapist, Rosaleen spent eight years working in sales within the financial services and technology industries. Her firsthand experience in corporate environments gives her a unique understanding of the pressures, burnout, perfectionism, and stress that can accompany high-achieving careers.
Rosaleen earned her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and also holds a Master's in Applied Psychology and Mental Health Therapies from Ulster University in Northern Ireland. During her graduate studies, she completed multiple research theses focused on eating disorders, further deepening her understanding of the complex relationship between mental health, identity, and healing.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major transition, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, Rosaleen is committed to helping you feel supported, empowered, and confident as you move forward.
