Hannah Gilman, MFT-LP earned her master’s degree from Drexel University. As an individual, couples, and family therapist, Hannah approaches her practice from a story-driven, systemic perspective that addresses all aspects of her clients’ lives. Her experience providing in-home therapy services in Philadelphia drives her passion for working with couples and families of diverse identities. Hannah especially enjoys working with teens, families, and couples navigating life-cycle transitions.

Hannah believes that relationships can be both the most important and most challenging parts of our lives. Whether they are looking to deepen their romantic partnerships, foster more meaningful friendships, improve family dynamics, or bolster self-esteem, by creating space for her clients to explore the internal and external factors impacting their relationships,

Hannah empowers her clients to develop stronger, more genuine connections. Hannah typically uses Narrative Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), and Contextual Family Therapy depending on her clients’ unique needs. She also draws from Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Play Therapy when working with younger clients. Most importantly, as a trauma-informed and culturally-attuned clinician, Hannah incorporates conversations about identity, power, and privilege in her practice.
