Tal Gershon is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a host of experience serving Adults, Adolescents, and Couples across treatment settings. Tal completed her undergraduate degree at SUNY Albany in Psychology, with a minor in Education. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College. In her early career, Tal worked as a team lead in schools, helping adolescents with social and academic challenges. Currently, Tal treats clients with a full range of concerns, including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relationship Issues, ADHD, Family Issues, Self-Esteem, Job-Related Concerns, and Panic Attacks.
Committed to providing exceptional care, Tal’s approach is personal and warm. During sessions, Tal creates a collaborative therapeutic relationship that is supportive and empowering. Tal builds strong bonds with each of her clients that allow them to feel comfortable opening up and self-reflecting. By tailoring treatment to each person’s unique life experience, Tal guides her clients in developing insights into their relationship and behavioral patterns. Her client-centered approach paired with her skillful guidance assists clients in making positive changes in their lives.
Tal is well-versed in a number of modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By leveraging these approaches, Tal equips her clients with practical tools and strategies that solidify lasting change.
