Anastasia Mongra is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor whose passion for mental health advocacy stems from her personal mission to destigmatize mental health and promote wellness in all its forms. She recognizes that the stigma of mental health fosters an environment where individuals feel forced to bear their burdens in silence and alone. Anastasia is committed to providing the support that others need and deserve as they navigate their personal struggles. She firmly believes that healing is a process that can be trying, yet rewarding, and it need not be endured alone.

Understanding the unique challenges and complexities that individuals with mental health issues experience, Anastasia strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space that is both empowering and adaptive. This therapeutic environment allows individuals to be their authentic, unmasked selves, process their emotions, and embark on a transformative path towards meaningful change.

Anastasia’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Therapy. This approach allows her to address a wide range of concerns and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances.

Anastasia’s practice focuses on working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and marginalized communities (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrants, etc.). She has extensive experience working with clients who have a history of complex trauma, PTSD, personality disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, ADHD, executive dysfunction, involvement with the criminal justice system, as well as anxiety and mood disorders.

Anastasia believes that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and she is dedicated to making this a reality for her clients. Whether you are navigating life transitions, grappling with mental health issues, or simply seeking a space to explore your thoughts and feelings, she is here to support you on your journey. Together, you will navigate through life’s challenges, explore the underlying mechanisms that have shaped who you are today, and build the skills necessary for a fulfilling, prosperous future.
